A quick guide to exploring and competing with NCAA tournament brackets.

What This App Does

Bracket Genius lets you explore NCAA basketball tournament brackets — current and historical. Browse current tournament brackets, dive into the archives, or play King of the Hill.

No account required for browsing. Create a free account to play King of the Hill.

How to Browse Brackets

1. From the Home screen, navigate to Current Tournaments for active brackets or Archives for historical brackets.
2. Select a tournament to view its bracket.
3. Swipe between sections to see all rounds.

Navigation

Tap the menu button (top-left) to switch between Home, Play, Archives, Current Tournaments, and Support.

King of the Hill

Claim a unique bracket and be the last one standing. Pick your winners from the final 16 teams — but every bracket can only be claimed by one person.

Claiming a Bracket

Pick winners for each game, then tap Claim Bracket to save. If another player already claimed that exact bracket, you'll need to change at least one pick.

Busted Brackets

When a game result goes against one of your picks, your bracket is "busted." The app will try to auto-correct by swapping in the winning team for all future games.

Auto-Correct

Auto-correct replaces the losing team with the winning team in your future picks. If the corrected bracket is already claimed by another player, auto-correct can't help — you'll need to find a new bracket to claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to browse brackets. To play King of the Hill, you'll need to create a free account and verify your email.

What tournaments are available?

NCAA Division I Basketball — Men's and Women's. Active tournaments appear under Current Tournaments, and past tournaments are in Archives.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: tap the profile icon, scroll down to Account Maintenance, and tap "Delete Account." You'll need to confirm your password and acknowledge that the deletion is permanent. The process removes your sign-on user, display names, identifying information, and your personal data.

If you've already uninstalled the app: email support@bracketgenius.app from your account's email address and request account deletion. We'll process your request within 30 days.
