Acceptance of These Terms

Bracket Genius ("the App") is a bracket exploration and competition platform operated by Bracket Race Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Accounts

You can browse the App without an account. To play King of the Hill or post comments, you must create an account with a valid email address, verify it, and choose a display name. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure.

Your Content

You own the content you create in the App — your bracket picks, comments, and display name. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content within the App and the services that operate it. Public comments are visible to all users of the App and are associated with your display name. A bracket you claim may remain part of the App's historical bracket data in anonymized form even after you delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

Keep it constructive. When using the App you agree not to post content that:

is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or threatening
is obscene or sexually explicit
infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
impersonates another person, or is spam or deceptive

The App automatically prevents restricted words from being used in display names and posts, rejecting them before they are submitted. This automated check is not a substitute for your judgment — content that is accepted must still follow these rules.

Moderation and Enforcement

We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, including for violations of these terms. If you see content that violates these rules, please report it to us at the email address below and we will review it promptly.

King of the Hill and Games

King of the Hill is a competitive bracket game: you claim a unique bracket by picking winners, and each bracket can be claimed by only one player. When a game result busts your bracket, the App may auto-correct it by swapping in the winning team. We may adjust game rules, correct or update tournament data, remove games or items, or reset games as needed to operate the App fairly. Bracket and tournament data is sourced from public sources and deemed reliable but not guaranteed.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including brackets, game results, and comments) is accurate or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bracket Race Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it (currently: nothing).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post material changes on this page with a revised effective date; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
